Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Policy

Goal: To foster an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful tabletop roleplaying community where all players, viewers, and creators feel valued and represented. TTRPGs thrive on diverse voices and perspectives. We are dedicated to maintaining a space where everyone can enjoy storytelling without unnecessary barriers, such as discrimination, inaccessibility, or exclusion.

Commitments to Inclusion

  • Inclusive Storytelling: Diverse narratives, characters, and settings are prioritized to reflect a wide range of identities, cultures, and experiences. Additionally, we ensure that representation of marginalized backgrounds is authentic and respectful.

  • Safe & Respectful Environment: A zero-tolerance policy is maintained for discrimination, harassment, or hate speech. 

  • Continuous Growth:  Fostering inclusion is an ongoing process. Feedback is welcomed, and policies are regularly reviewed to enhance diversity and equity initiatives.

Implementation

  • Content & Casting: A diverse range of GMs and players are featured in productions. The channel will maintain a selection of GMs & players that reflects our desire to ensure meaningful representation. 

    • Livestream Tables will cast a solid selection of BIPOC creators participating, with a goal of 50% with a minimum of 2 slots guaranteed. 

    • Podcast Tables are considered a part of the same cohesive story as all audio-only shows aim to tell a single cohesive story in a single season. To that end, each season will contain at least 50% BIPOC casting.

  • Open Communication: Feedback is encouraged to ensure inclusive and welcoming spaces.

  • Community Standards: Clear guidelines and active moderation ensure respectful interactions. 

    • Be Kind Always: No hate, no trolling, no excuses. Respect everyone—period.

    • People Matter: Discrimination, harassment, and hate speech—including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, body-shaming, or any form of bigotry—will not be tolerated. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity. 

    • No Spamming, No Oversharing: Keep it chill—no flood of nonsense, self-promo, or dropping personal/private info. 

    • Ask First: We’re all professionals in the space, so please be respectful and ask in a main chat before initiating a Private Message to another player.

Approach to Inclusive Casting

Diversity at the table doesn’t happen by chance—it comes from intentionally maintaining a diverse network, building genuine relationships, and prioritizing experienced players through a combination of referrals and a structured casting process. Every player is vetted by the GM(s) to ensure a strong, collaborative environment. 

How Casting Works

  • Building Relationships: Connections are built over time to foster a network of talented, diverse players.

  • Recommendation-Based & Casting Call Selection: Players are brought in through referrals or casting calls, with a vetting process to ensure experience, reliability, and a good group dynamic.

  • Maintaining a Diverse Network: Effort is made to keep connections broad and inclusive, ensuring a variety of perspectives at the table.

  • Prioritizing Representation: BIPOC players have priority in casting decisions to ensure diverse and equitable representation, without tokenizing anyone.
